The Assembly Room is ideal for a range of live events and performances.
The Assembly Room boasts original Victorian features, flexible raked seating for up to 336, dressing rooms and industry standard lighting and sound facilities.
All performance bookings are priced based on the requirements of your event with the option to include technical support, Front of House and Box Office services.
FOR YOUR CONFERENCE, MEETING OR GROUP ACTIVITY
With a variety of rooms available for hire The Civic can provide the perfect location for one off meetings or classes, workshops and training on a regular basis.
All rooms include the use of TVs for presentations, flipcharts and internet access with refreshments packages available.
We offer preferential rates for long term bookings and both day and hourly rates depending on your requirements.
Our larger spaces also lend themselves perfectly to conferences and business networking and we are happy to discuss combinations of spaces to suit your event.
FOR YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION
Whether it’s a drinks reception, awards ceremony or large birthday party, The Civic is the perfect location for special events and gatherings.
With a varied programme of exhibitions throughout the year The Gallery @ can provide a stimulating back drop to drinks receptions and cocktail parties with exclusive access to the exhibition out of hours.
The Panorama, a bright and airy space overlooking Mandela Gardens, can host a variety of events in different formats for up to 100 guests. Our largest space, The Assembly Room, can accommodate up to 250 guests at round tables with competitive food and drinks packages available.
All celebration events are priced based on the requirements of your event and can include technical support, Front of House staff, Box Office services and catering as required.
