Barnsley Civic a registered charity and rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our work.

For almost 150 years Barnsley Civic has been a home for creativity, community and civic good. Generations of Barnsley folk have come through our doors to be entertained, educated and inspired.  We are a registered charity and as we approach our 150th anniversary, we’re inviting people to support our next chapter as Civic150 Friends. Donations help us to:

Introduce local children to live theatre for the first time
Support learning-disabled and autistic adults to create original performances that share their own stories
Preserve our Grade II–listed building and improve public spaces to be more accessible and sustainable

For just £30 per year, you can help us to continue to deliver community projects, help families to make memories, and be a welcoming space for everyone. Our Civic150 Friends will receive:
