Skate & Swoon
Calling all romance readers and skating enthusiasts!
Join Char from Plots & Pals for Skate & Swoon, an exclusive ice-skating session and book club with a romantic twist. We will be diving into Collide by Bal Khabra, so get your skates and your heart ready for this hockey romance!
Your book will be available to collect from the Barnsley Civic Box Office when you book, giving you plenty of time to settle in with Collide before the big discussion. Please read the book before attending, as our conversation may contain spoilers.
With limited spaces available, this is your opportunity to meet like-minded readers, share your thoughts on all thing romance and enjoy Barnsley Civic's winter magic along the way.
Whether you’re coming for the romance, the reading, the skating or the chance to make some new bookish friends, Skate & Swoon promises a night to remember.
We will be skating from 6pm-6:45pm, before starting our book club at 7pm. Please arrive at 5:45pm in the Community Space to ensure we can start on time.
