Join Music in the Round at Emmanuel Church for friendly and welcoming classical music concerts from some of the world’s finest musicians. You’ll be sitting just metres away from award-winning musicians, performing spine-tingling music with their heart and soul. In this special concert, the Consone String Quartet is joined by presenter and music writer Katy Hamilton, to bring Beethoven’s creative world vividly to life through an engaging combination of music and storytelling. Pieces by Beethoven and his friends, personally chosen by the Quartet, are interspersed with historical detail as told by Katy. She provides a human insight into the lives of these exceptional composers and their music. This promises to be a captivating concert by the “top notch” (Allmusic) Consone Quartet, one of the most rigorous and approachable quartets playing today, following their warmly received concert in Barnsley in 2025.
