Adult Art Club: Creative Confidence
We are excited to introduce a new series of free creative workshops designed for working-age adults who are not currently in employment or education.
A safe and welcoming space to meet people, get creative and explore something new, these hands-on art sessions will be guided by Barnsley Civic’s artist-in-residence Lucy Dewsnap. Informal and relaxed, the sessions will gently encourage you to:
- Explore your creativity and discover new interests
- Meet new people and expand your social network
- Build your confidence and self-belief
- Learn practical new skills
- Take positive steps towards your next chapter
There's no previous experience or ongoing commitment required, and participants can book on for as many sessions as they choose. Whether you’re looking to try something completely new or simply want to get out and meet some new people, please do come along and get creative with us!
Please note: This project is part of the wider Pathways to Work programme for working age adults not in full time employment or education. There is no commitment to join the Pathways programme as part of this but information and support will be avaiable as required.
