Planting the Seed – Intro to small-space gardening
Barnsley Civic is delighted to be teaming up with the National Trust for an exciting new community garden project.
Join us for a series of hands-on taster sessions this summer and get your hands dirty with the Wentworth Castle Gardens gardening team. You’ll help us transform and beautify our outdoor space, pick up practical tips and tricks for gardening in small spaces, and take home something to help you get growing.
No experience required and all materials provided – Dress for mess!
A hands-on, practical introduction to small-space gardening and homemade compost. Help plant up a mini container garden, and sown your own seeds to take home.
Max 20 people per session – open to general public – under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Book online.
