Competition Rules

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility:

   • Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 and over, unless otherwise stated.

   • Entrants under 18 must have the permission of a parent or guardian and may only enter competitions specifically open to their age group.

2. Entry:

   • Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise specified.

   • Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.

   • Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

3. Prizes:

   • Prizes are as stated and no cash alternative or substitute will be offered.

   • Ticket prizes are valid for a performance chosen by Barnsley Civic and are subject to availability.

   • Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

4. Winner Selection & Notification:

   • Winners will be selected at random (or as otherwise stated) from all eligible entries.

   • Winners will be notified via the contact details provided at entry.

   • If a winner cannot be contacted within a specified timeframe, Barnsley Civic reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

5. General:

   • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

   • Barnsley Civic reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

   • Barnsley Civic’s decision is final in all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into.

   • Barnsley Civic reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has breached these Terms & Conditions.

6. Publicity:

   • By entering, entrants consent to the use of their name and (if applicable) image for promotional purposes in connection with the competition, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. Data Protection:

   • Personal data provided during entry will be used solely for the administration of the competition and in accordance with Barnsley Civic’s privacy policy.
