We are excited to announce emerging Barnsley based artist Lucy Dewsnap as a new resident artist at Barnsley Civic.
Lucy Dewsnap, also known as BearSuit, is a multimedia artist with a Master of Fine Arts degree and over a decade of experience as a professional artist. Lucy explores ecological themes through painting, filming, photography, and more. Through the character of BearSuit, Lucy weaves together personal experiences with humour and the surreal, creating unique and thought-provoking works.
This Autumn, Barnsley Civic will be premiering the first major solo exhibition of Lucy’s work. Further details to be announced
