Sip & Sketch: Screen-printing With 01226 Collective
Join us for a relaxed and informal evening of drawing, drinks and music in our gallery and workshops spaces.
The full bar service will be available, and the first drink is included in the ticket price.
This month's Sip & Sketch is a screen-printing workshop led by Barnsley's 01226 Collective (aka artists Emilie Rose and Alicja Wozik). Participants will learn the full process of screen-printing and how to make a cost-effective version of a silk screen they can use at home.
Attendees should bring up to three garments they would like to print on. We’ll start by explaining the screen-printing process from design to print. After this, participants can try using our pre-made screens to print on one of their garments. They will then create their own DIY screen using woven fabric, an embroidery hoop, and Mod Podge. By the end of the workshop, everyone will take home their printed garment.
