Hansel & Gretel re-imagined
Join us for an evening of theatre magic as pupils from schools across Barnsley join forces to perform a specially commissioned version of Englebert Humperdinck's Hansel& Gretel arranged by William Cole, with a libretto translated by David Pountney and revised by Roxana Cole.
We will be joined by students from Littleworth Grange, Darfield, Oakwell Rise and Wellgate primary schools who will be performing as part of a massed choir, accompanied by professional singers and members of the Orchestra of Opera North. Conductor: Will Cole
