Creative Social: Out With The Old, In With The New
Join us for our next Creative Social event, Barnsley's only monthly networking event for artists and creatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for local artists to connect, share their work, and expand their creative networks – no matter what stage of their creative journey they're on. Come together to exchange ideas, resources, and contacts, vent frustrations, share tips, and offer support.
In this relaxed first artists social of 2026, we host another of our popular SWISH's, which involves bringing in pre-loved (good condition) clothing, accessories or books and exchange them with others.
Our Community Engagement Officer Gemma, will also be running a vision boarding workshop, in which you can visualise your resolutions for a new year, either personal ones or for your arts business. Materials will be provided.
This event will take place in our Community Space and is FREE to attend. The social is open to ages 16+, but ID will be needed for alcohol purchases.

Laura Stead is a freelance marketing consultant. This 90 minute talk (with time for chat afterwards) will cover; turning your creative process into engaging content, finding easy ways to boost organic reach and visibility, building a genuine connection with your audience.
