A Barnsley Dance Symposium, a partnership between Tala Lee-Turton Productions, Barnsley Civic, and Barnsley Council.
Join us for an inspiring day as we bring together a cross section of the dance ecosystem in Barnsley and London.
The event starts with a showcase of draft works from artists including Tala Lee-Turton Productions, Phil Sanger of We are Ramped, Carlos Pons Guerra of DeNada Dance Theatre and Keira Martin.
A facilitated discussion will follow and explore challenges and opportunities for the dance sector in Barnsley and possible routes to market for Barnsley-centric productions.
We are inviting artists, producers, and venues from Barnsley, the surrounding regions, and London, to form connections and explore ways of developing and touring Barnsley dance-based work.
